Dr Frank FurfaroDr Frank Furfaro received his Bachelor of Dental Science degree with Honours at the University of Western Australia in 2005, where he graduated top of his class. He was awarded numerous prizes including the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Prize and the Wynn Needham Memorial Prize for the highest achieving student over the five years of the dentistry degree, the Western Australian College of Dental Science Prize in Restorative Dentistry, the Tom E. Scott Memorial Prize and the Eric Williams Prize in Prosthodontics, the Kenneth J G Sutherland Prize in Clinical Dentistry and the Australian Society of Orthodontists Prize in Orthodontics.
After working as a general dentist for four years, Dr Furfaro went on to complete his Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) from the University of Western Australia in 2012, again graduating top of his class. He is a full member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the Australian Orthodontic Board, the World Federation of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr Furfaro is dedicated to providing his patients with exceptional orthodontic care and is committed to continuing education to ensure he is at the forefront of orthodontic knowledge. He participates regularly in meetings and conferences nationally and internationally, and is the current Honorary Treasurer of the Australian Society of Orthodontists (WA Branch). Dr Furfaro grew up on his family's orchards in the beautiful Bickley Valley and Donnybrook. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Brenda, and their two-year-old daughter, Alexis. Dr Furfaro is also a keen, though highly ungifted, golfer and enjoys football, motor sports, jogging, hiking, snorkelling, and relaxing with family and friends. |
